MARKETING MANAGER - EVENTS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

In this role, you’ll lead the planning and execution of everything from intimate breakfasts and networking lunches to large-scale outdoor events for over 800 guests.
You’ll own the process end-to-end—concept development, budgeting, logistics, flawless delivery and ROI analysis—while bringing creativity and precision to every detail. Success in this role means forging strong partnerships with local businesses, vendors, and city leaders while also managing key community and business initiatives like the Cherry Creek Arts District initiative and Cherry Creek Alliance.

EVENTS
- Serves as a primary point of contact for 3rd party event producers, partners, CCN operations and vendors
- Coordinates and distributes creative assets relating to events
- Staffs district events with internal and external people
- Distributes physical community event notices when necessary
- Assists Vice President of Marketing & Communications with the development of sponsorship sales collateral and delivery of key assets and post-event reporting for "clients"
- Creates run of show and map layouts
- Oversight and management of event budgets, timelines and ROI analysis
- Event vendor contracting and management
- Provides direction for event photographers, videographers and content creators
- Conducts event debriefs among teams and produces post-event reporting for internal use
- Supports VP/Marketing with Sponsorship asset delivery and follow-up recap reporting
- Coordinates with Marketing team and public relations partners on website event calendar and event listings
- Coordinates/executes event research for each event such as Placer.ai, intercepts, etc.
- Innovate around annual events to improve guest experience, cost effectiveness and ROI and overall impact
CHERRY CREEK ARTS FOUNDATION
- Identify key stakeholders, cultivate relationships, and outreach
- Further develop the roadmaps to foundation activation as well as Arts District certification
- Work with the newly formed Board to execute deliverables
CHERRY CREEK ALLIANCE
- Administers annual budget, event calendar and invoicing
- Produces communications including email correspondence/newsletters, Board minutes, and website updates
- Develops annual State of Cherry Creek Report
- Produces annual State of Cherry Creek Breakfast
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field
- Experience: Proven success with 4-7 years of strategic and tactical event and community marketing, brand management and digital experience
- Technical proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Placer.ai and more
- Soft skills: Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving abilities; creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including business proposals & reports, presentations
- Highly organized
- Salary $75k-$85k commensurate with experience with additional incentive pay opportunity available
Operations Maintenance Technician
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, and working with Operations staff, this role will identify opportunities through daily inspections of the Public Right of Way in the Cherry Creek North (CCN) district by regularly observing general conditions to address and resolve safety concerns, asset issues or damages, hardscape concerns, landscape or irrigation issues, snow and ice concerns and electrical issues.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular district inspections of the Public Right of Way
- Address, repair or restore issues that have been identified regarding district assets
- Communicate issues/concerns with CCN management, contractors, property owners, property managers and retailers
- Identify and address safety concerns or potentially unsafe conditions
- Identify and resolve landscape or irrigation issues
- Report and mitigate snow, ice and other unsafe winter conditions
- Work with CCN contractors and vendors to ensure they are operating in a safe manner and performing to a standard that meets or exceeds CCN expectations
- Staining of wooden assets
- Painting of metal assets
- Sign and Wayfinding maintenance
- Paver / Hardscape repair
- Minor Landscape / Irrigation repair
- Maintain accurate records or reports
- Provide emergency responses when needed during off hours
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Property maintenance experience
- Ability to interact professionally and efficiently (oral and written) with management, staff, contractors, property owners, residents, retailers and visitors
- Hands on experience with basic painting, staining, electrical repair, hardscape repair, landscaping and irrigation repair, snow and ice mitigation
- Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, substantial walking and use of power and hand tools. Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Must have a valid driver's license from the state of Colorado
WORK SCHEDULE / ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS
- Full time hourly position at $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
- 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday with on-call during off hours / weekend availability when necessary
